Finding lightness and ease with Vanda

Dayle has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. Her training is in “Integrative Yoga”*. It is inspired by Vanda Scaravelli, Qi Gong, and the Buteyko Breathing Method. It is a practice to enjoy lightness and ease in body and mind.

*Integrative what?

*Integrative Yoga, the term coined(?), by my most amazing teacher and mentor, Shilpa Ghatalia. I practiced with her for two and a half years in Malaysia, 2010. It was truly the most wonderful time in my life. I learned so so so much. It is feminine, fun, light, full, and enjoyable.

From 2018, I had the privilege to spend 3 years taking anatomy, breathing, and philosophy courses. Most of the courses I have taken have been online and self paced. It is a work in progress, with family and working. All the courses have greatly increased my understanding of the body, of the movement practice, and especially of breathing. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn and grow. To name just a few…
